Catch the Spin

If your Headlights go out

Slow your car or truck down to no more than 35 mph and allow your eyes to adjust to the darkness (it can take as long as an hour for eyes to fully adjust from bright light to darkness). As you wait, visualize the road ahead of you and road you have just driven as far back as you can recall. If you are carrying a cell phone or watch, use their glowing faces to offer some illumination to the dark road.  Once your eyes adjust to the darkness speed back up to initial speed of 75+ mph.
